SR Baridür
This Super Randonnée is dedicated to the Hautes-Vosges and Vosges Centrales (the northern end of the loop is Saverne, located on the Marne-Rhine canal). The start place is Cernay, in Haut-Rhin, located 20 km from Mulhouse, easily accessible by regional train (TER) from Mulhouse-Ville station.
The route will take you to the main peaks of the massif (Ballon d'Alsace, Ballon de Servance, Grand Ballon, Petit Ballon, Hohneck, Donon, Champ du Feu). It uses about forty passes, the famous Haut-Königsbourg castle, and the scenic Route des Crêtes (Route of the Ridges). In addition to popular roads, you will discover secret roads in the heart of the Vosges forest.
In Alsatian dialect, the word "baridür" means ... a tour in the mountain.
